Theresa joins haven as a Nurse Practitioner with over 29 years of experience at Stanford Health Care, where she worked within the Division of Pain Medicine. She received her graduate degree from UCSF and has focused primarily on the evaluation and treatment of individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. In addition, she has developed a clinical subspecialty in headache management. Theresa is a nationally recognized clinician, speaker, author and thought leader in the field of pain management. In 2025, she was inducted into the Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and she was recognized by AANP as the 2024 Nurse Practitioner State Award of Excellence award winner for the State of California. She was also listed by the Point of Care Network as one of America’s top Nurse Practitioners in Pain Management in 2019, 2021, & 2022.
